We have everything you need to ensure you learn whats nessasary before you step into the water with the entire staff that will help you step by step on any of the courses you take with Atlantis Dive Cancun.

All training is carried on swimming pools and safe places for comfort and tranquility of our customers.

The best quality dive equipment, complete with integrated weights and dive computers are used and provided for all the training.

Please note that for any kind of scuba diving training, the student will first need to be medically cleared. If the student is able to answer “no” to all the questions on the form, they will not require a physician’s signature. A “yes” answer means that the form and packet must be taken to a physician for medical approval before they can engage in any scuba diving activities.

Remember it is very important to be honest when filling out the form for safety reasons.

Puerto Morelos is a great place to learn to scuba dive. With pristine waters, abundant sea life, and numerous wrecks and reefs to explore, get the hang of breathing underwater before shallow diving in the ocean with our PADI Discover Scuba Diving Program.

Grab the golden ticket to dive anywhere in the world with this basic PADI Atlantis Dive Cancun Course.

You will spend one day reviewing yourself with guided academic training through quizzes and the final exam along with an extensive pool session where you will learn the basics of diving.

Days 2 and 3 are open water diving off our boat during your check out dives, these are great learning fun! Successfully completing the class will allow you to go scuba diving and rent equipment ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD!

All inclusive 3 day class, start anytime. All boat dives and days need not be consecutive.

Residents may want to contact us about week night and weekend group courses at discounted rates.

All inclusive 2 day course (1-2 person max). Not recommended due to long hours, but possible. E-Learning from PADI highly recommended in this case. Puerto Morelos advantage.

with three charters daily, divers are separated by skill level for best customer experience

Five adventure dives under the direct supervision of the instructor, this includes some of our favorites : deep, drift, boat and wreck dives, and required navigation dive. It is an all inclusive experience with two boats, equipment rental, books, training, and certification fees.

Advanced classes require five dives that can be completed in two sessions. However, you can add an additional charter boat.

Getting certified as a Master Scuba Diver is the highest level one can attain in Atlantis Dive Cancun. To obtain this recognition, the diver must obtain five specialty certifications in at least five types of diving. Certain specializations, such as Enriched Air and Wreck Diver, are recommended since they allow the diver to participate in types of diving they are otherwise not certified to participate in. Other specialties, such as Night Diver and UW Photograper, are recommended to gain experience in a certain type of diving, so that the diver raises their skill level at certain types of diving.

Atlantis Dive Cancun is aware that costs for tuition are higher than most dive centers. However, free boat diving during your course makes up for most of the difference between us and the other shops in Puerto Morelos. The quality of the program is simply higher at Atlantis Dive Cancun, we provide more hands on training with clients than any other dive center and will assist you in becoming a real, not “paper” divemaster. You will be working directly with the real thing, full time professional dive instructors. You will learn how to plan, lead, brief and conduct dive trips, and be able to handle less experienced divers everyday problems without thinking twice by the end of your training. If you want the real thing, here it is. Just come to the shop one day, you’ll see at least 3, and up to 5 dive trips, depart from the shop in a single day. If you really want to be a professional, this is the place to learn. If you just want the paper, sorry, we don’t teach that program.

Requirements for Divemaster Training:

18+ years of age
PADI medical statement signed by a physician
EFR certification or equivalent
PADI rescue course
40+ logged dives
Must own a full set of personal dive equipment

Extra Advantage

We provide free boat dives during your training – a significant perk and a smart reason to choose Atlantis Dive Cancun for your Divemaster training. Our goal is to turn out Divemasters that are fully capable of leading these same dive charters by the end of the course. To that end you will be fully involved in all aspects of learning how to plan, brief, safely execute, and conclude a daily boat charter.

DVD and Still Photography

Don't worry that you don't have and underwater camera or video. We have it all under control. Don't end up missing and wishing you had a camera!! We can make a video of your experience or digital photos either to print or make a high quality DVD with music of your photos or video. Don't miss the memories, we will capture them for you.
